Sharing another quilt I had the opportunity to quilt for a friend/student named Tracy. I won’t share complete information as this is a gift for someone…..this was her first large quilt and she did an amazing job…loved the choice of fabrics…..Thank you Tracy I enjoyed this one very much….it will be a lovely gift….sharing front and back….

Playing with a new overall design…

IMG_4095Just back from Texas…delivering our beautiful grandaughters to their parents……getting back on track with quilting and class samples…..playing with a new rough overall design for a quilt in house right now…..thoughts?……..a shout out to all my friends for their understanding for the time allotted till their quilts are finished ……with grandbabies..you are the best…..😘😘😘😘😘getting them done…..will be in touch……LC

The new addition to the family…

Sharing the first quilt off my new baby…the Q24 by Bernina…..I loved my sit down Q20 Longarm but I found I was spending more time rearranging the quilts and it was taking a toll on the wrists and arms……I am loving working on the frame….I am floating the top and batting so a lot less pinning….using the clips that attach to the bars… this beautiful quilt was made by my good friend Polly Page😘 it went home today……second quilt is up on the frame and already started……so much easier Β and faster this way…πŸ’•πŸ’• till next time….

Currently working on this beauty….

I am so grateful my friends have been so patient with me….trying to get caught up with all quilts in house…..while caring for our two lovely grandaughters…24/7……this one is a beauty made by my good friend Mel….the piecing of this quilt was a feat and she did an impeccable job…………so ruler work is perfect to use on the center …will be doing freemotion in the borders…..I so enjoy how this one is evolving…….thanks to Linda from http://www.thequiltedpineapple.com Β  The QP #20 curved ruler is doing a wonderful job…..I’ll take you along on the progression of this lovely piece..stay tuned….#thequiltedpineapple #rulerwork #freemotionquilting……

Roses are red,pink,and purple…

Sharing a few photos of the roses in the garden…a great start to the gardening season….some have 100+ roses currently…years ago I asked Kevin not to give me cut flowers but give me something to build our garden to last many years…….my children have continued this tradition as well……something we all still enjoy😘😘😘
