I wanted to share this beautiful quilt made by fellow guild member and friend..Roxanne…I admit I was tentative in quilting this quilt…102″x108…. as large quilts are difficult to keep in square…but Roxanne did an amazing job with her workmanship……..I did ruler work with original free motion quilting..loved how it turned out and she was happy with it as well…Thank you for the opportunity Roxanne….so glad I had my Bernina Q 24 on the frame to do it!!!

A great beginning……

IMG_4429Sharing a quick fun photo of some amazing women I was able to spend a two session beginners class with…..they said they were beginners…AMAZING ONES!  We had one session last month and finished up yesterday…they had some homework and they were over achievers…came to class with more done than asked so they all made it to the final steps to complete the most beautiful  first time quilted projects…..loved these students…. they were so receptive and fun to get to know…..these students will do wonderful with their skills on future projects….Thank you ladies!! Looking forward to what you will do next!

Sharing another…..Cutest little Churndash…..

Another  quilt finished…Love these little ones…gives me a chance to try out new ruler techniques as well as free motion….found on this one I used a ruler in each hand at the same time as different arcs were needed……a little unnerving at first but very doable…. note to my students….start small …you will be able to accomplish wonderful results… a shout out to good friend Laura B…..for another fun opportunity!!!   Thank you!
