Back doing what I love….

Now that the house is quiet ….after the lovely wedding we could have hosted  for our children…I have been quilting 24/7….some are for gifts so I won’t share…. but here is a lovely quilt pieced from a great friend Laura Baumgardner…….in light of the stress of today ……I am so at peace doing what I love…..just in time for Thanksgiving….

Five days and counting…..wedding…

Just when I thought we were out of the woods with a dry summer……Mother Nature deals another hand…..frost tonight….I was on plan B…replanting mums and asters and montauk daisies……not all in the ground yet…storing under roof and indoors……now I know petunias and mums can take a light frost but not taking any chances…..so hoping this is a one night thing…..it’s not a crime scene(at least not yet)…not a crazy patch quilt….just covering all flowers under newspapers and sheets…..guess who has extra laundry tomorrow…..😜😜…Thank goodness my husband helps with the laundry🌺🌺😊So hoping things will be beautiful for our son’s wedding Saturday……….💕💕💕
