Sharing a new class for the Fall….my original design..students will receive all templates to complete this fusible appliqué wallhanging which includes basic thread painting and for those crazy free motion lovers ….such as myself….. you have negative space to play with all your background filler designs…..will be offering it at Hoover’s for next quarter and on the road for guild workshops….come and join in all the fun…😊😊…. Sharing with all my gardening friends. 💕💕after many dry days…….weeks ….I am hoping you have received God’s blessing in rainfall…sharing photos…forgive the weeds and uneven grass borders …….not  too concerned…….just glad they are turning green once again….flowers are holding on…….hopefully for October wedding😊😊……God is good all the time…All the time God is good…..feeling so Thankful!

Sharing the progression of the gardens…some of the plantings are struggling…so hoping for rain….watering way too often…..we often enjoy the setting with a beverage of choice…if you see yourself out and about..stop on by and say hello….gardens are free for the viewing….

Sharing a tour of the gardens…they are beginning to fill in nicely……back home from a week away in Texas….a big Thank You to my neighbor Lourie for diligently watering while we were away……hoping for a soaking rain as pulling a couple hundred feet of hose is getting old…..I hope you enjoy….

Sharing what I do when not quilting…teaching…..auditing..the beds are all planted except for the white garden for the October 15, 2016 wedding on the property…still some manual labor needed there……hopefully done by the weekend…….follow-up pictures  as the growing season continues…..

Sharing photos of the quilt made by my good friend Christie Yorks …..she did a beautiful job piecing and gave me the opportunity to quilt it for her…..so much fun doing these…working now on it’s identical twin from another good friend Laura Baumgardner…..they were determined to finish these together as they may have had them as UFO’s for a little while…

Today’s opportunity….sharing the afternoon with Centre  Pieces Quilt Guild in State College Pa…I presented the lecture..”How to custom quilt your quilt” ….”Thinking outside the Block”.  …These quilt members were wonderful to work with and very receptive to the information that was given …..thought I would show their design work, many of them went home with their custom designs worked out ready to stitch on their completed quilts……Thank you Ladies for a very positive experience for this teacher….days like this make me so grateful for being able to do what I love….can’t wait to see how these quilts turn out…..as always we get so involved that I only got limited photos….ladies feel free to post to my page I love to share student work….these ladies were very inspiring..

Sharing the wonderful opportunity I had last night…the Piecemakers Guild of Middletown, PA …invited me to present the program for their monthly meeting…..”How to Custom Design your quilt”…….a lovely group of women who were so gracious and welcoming…I was so impressed with the talent of this group of quilters …..their show and tell was so inspiring….Thank you ladies for such a lovely evening….😊😊
