As someone who enjoys nature and finds inspiration for quilt designs in my family’s own backyard and flower gardens, I am sharing a few photos of our country home. My husband and I have called this place HOME for over thirty years and enjoyed raising our two children in such a beautiful setting.

Thanks Wayne & Rusty! By the way, a trip to California is still on our bucket list and perhaps the ‘Road to California Quilt Festival’ might just be the ticket. Laura’s 2010 Hoffman Challenge winning entry was among the national traveling exhibits and appeared in that California quilt festival (probably sometime in 2011) . . . so her work made it to your state before the two of us. Hopefully, her future teaching opportunities will open the door to some fun traveling moments.
